Preparation-
Separate egg yolks and whites, beat yolks with 50gr. of sugar until nearly white. Add Aviv cake meal, lemon zest, and vanilla essence.
Beat egg whites and slowly add the remaining sugar and continue to beat until the mixture forms white peaks. Slowly incorporate the yolk mixture with the whipped egg whites and mix until smooth.
Pour the mix into a greased tin (5cm deep) and bake for about 45 minutes at 180°C/350° until the cake is golden brown.
Preparation-
Mix all ingredients thoroughly and roll into small balls. Roll balls in matzo meal then deep-fry in vegetable shortening. Drain on brown paper and serve.
Preparation-
Beat eggs, add liquid and stir in matzo meal and seasoning to make a smooth batter that is thick enough to drop from a large spoon. Drop by the spoonful into melted shortening deep enough to fry the pancakes. Brown on both sides, drain well, and serve with applesauce, cheese, or sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
